Question 1

Where do the tender notices come from?

Accepted Answer

Every notice is imported from official public procurement publications — TED (Tenders Electronic Daily) plus national portals such as the UK, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, France, Ireland and Switzerland. Each record keeps a link back to the original notice.

Question 2

How often is the data updated?

Accepted Answer

Imports run automatically every day, with overlapping lookback windows so nothing is missed. Notices that are corrected or re-published are stored as new versions rather than overwriting the original.

Question 3

How are opportunities matched to my company?

Accepted Answer

Matching is deterministic and transparent: CPV codes, sector and services, geography, contract value and deadline each contribute a fixed share of the score. Every match shows the evidence behind it, so you can see exactly why it was suggested.

Question 4

Can I trust the score on its own?

Accepted Answer

Treat it as a shortlist, not a decision. Scores and confidence bands help you prioritise, but you should always open the official notice and verify the requirements, value and deadline before bidding.

Question 5

How do alerts and saved searches work?

Accepted Answer

Save a search, switch its alert on, and new matching opportunities are collected for you. Each opportunity is only ever alerted once, and you can turn alerts off or unsubscribe at any time from your alert settings.

Question 6

Is the notice data free to access?

Accepted Answer

The underlying publications are public and free. OpenSkyBid adds the collection, cleanup, de-duplication, scoring and alerting on top so you do not have to monitor dozens of portals yourself.

Question 7

In which languages is OpenSkyBid available?

Accepted Answer

The interface is available in English, German, French, Spanish and Polish, and you can switch language at any time from the header. Tender notices themselves are always kept in the original language published by the official source.
